Part of Kirkby Lonsdale’s Christmas Festival Weekend. 

Watch the Christmas Parade through the historic streets, visit Santa, enjoy shopping in town and at stalls in the church, then finish your day singing and listening to joyous carols and seasonal songs. 

Come and enjoy your favourite carols and winter songs, and enjoy a few choral treats from local community choirs Sing Joyfully! & Kirkby Lonsdale Singers.

Choral Workshop for All - "You Can Sing, But Can You Swing?"

Led by world-acclaimed artists and composers Joanna Forbes L'Estrange and Alexander L'Estrange 

St Mary's Parish Church, Kirkby Lonsdale

A unique opportunity for an all-day workshop with two of the country's leading musicians, former Swingle Singer Joanna Forbes L'Estrange and Composer Alexander L'Estrange.

11am registration/sign-in

11:30-5:30pm Workshop, learning new choral arrangements of jazz classics and swing repertoire in a welcoming and fun-filled setting. 

Includes a break for lunch. BYO food or enjoy lunch at local cafes and eating establishments. 

Workshop followed by evening concert for all participants at 7pm
