With almost 40 years of flute teaching and 30 years of vocal teaching to her credit, Anastasia has gained a reputation as a first class tutor.  Her pupils have gained places in national choirs and orchestras, and secured scholarships to schools, universities and colleges of their choice.

Her pupils have a 100% pass rate in ABRSM examinations, many achieving Merit or Distinction, and whilst teaching GCSE at Furness Music Centre, all her pupils gained and A or A* grade.

Anastasia enjoys working with students of all ages and believes firmly that music is for all.  She has developed a reputation for upholding the highest standards and she encourages her students to be the best that they can be. 



Individual lessons can be taken in flute, voice, piano, music theory and other instruments.  Tuition is given in person and online. Please refer to the CONTACT page for all enquiries.

 


In the classroom, Anastasia enjoys creating and delivering her own music curriculum, tailored to the needs of individuals. She gained her PGCE from Cambridge University in 1991 and has held the NQPH qualification for Headteachers since 2012.

Anastasia has led thriving music departments in a variety of schools, teaching Early Years, Adults, and across all Key Stages.  She has worked in both the state and independent sectors, growing and expanding the quality and breadth of music making and tuition, and creating new and exciting opportunities for students through the development of a broad curriculum, concert opportunities, church and chapel services, assembly performances and worship music, workshops, music clubs, musical theatre productions and shows, choirs and ensembles.

She enjoys collaborating with other musicians and has regularly invited world renowned guest musicians to schools, including Atarah Ben Tovim MBE, David Lawrence, Anthony Hewitt, Alicja Fiderkiewicz and Jess Gillam.
